I believe meaningful change may begin when you feel seen, heard and cared for!

My approach is integrative. I engage my specialized training and clinical experience utilizing cognitive behavioral, humanistic, family systems, EMDR therapy, and dialectical behavioral (DBT) therapeutic paradigms and somatic methodologies, as well as reconciliation and discernment counseling, and collaborative divorce practices.

Therapeutic support is provided for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, codependency, relationship dynamics, domestic violence, LGBTQ+ identity and personal growth, as well as couples and family therapy, co-parenting education, and divorce support. Presently, I work with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families, either in-person or virtually via telehealth.

I have been offering clinical services in the mental health field for 30 years. I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and subsequently completed my Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of Southern California.

My professional experience includes the provision of psychotherapy and counseling, consultation, academic instruction, and clinical leadership within private practice, community mental health, intensive outpatient treatment, and primary, elementary, secondary education, and university settings. I have enjoyed my former positions of co-clinical director at an addiction and trauma treatment center, as graduate level university faculty, and serving as a school counselor.  I have found these experiences to thoughtfully inform my present clinical perspective and skill development, fostering meaningful support for the needs of my private practice clients.

I am professionally prepared and licensed to practice in California, Florida, and Utah, and I also maintain a California Pupil Personnel Service (PPS) credential.
